Simply Stampin' Challenge {Simply Wonderful)

Vicki Burdick MADE me do it! She did! She made me purchase the Stippled Blossom Stamp Set and I wish I could use it like she does but hey, my first time using it, I think I did ok!? The flowers are meant to look antique and worn. I don't know, I kind of wish I had not used the orange card stock for the base...ugh! But hey, I had fun getting inky!

So then I made the card with a neutral base...I actually think I like the orange base better?

This card was made using the Simply Stampin' Sketch Challenge.

  2. Hmmm.....I do love the vintage look of your flower, but I think I like the neutral base the best. Both are lovely, though!

  3. Too funny. I made a card the other day and used blue bases and then was thinking I should've used a neutral brown. Hehe. I actually like the second card better, but if you hadn't put it there, I would've loved the orange base. I like how the orange could go to someone that has a sense of whimsy to them, while the neutral fits for any elegant occasion. :) Have a happy day! (Oh, and being forced to buy another stamp set...totally get what you're throwing down. LOL)

  9. Don't think I've spotted this stamp set - both versions are good in their own right but I prefer the more neutral one here.

  10. I think you've done a wonderful job with that stamp set! It's on my wish list for sure! I have to admit I'm not an orange lover so the neutral one is my fave - but then again the orange does give a great 'pop'!

A great take on our sketch, thanks so much for sharing your fab cards with us at Simply Stampin'! Ruth x
